FIVE OF THE BEST…North Norfolk Seaside Traditions

Fun Fair, Hunstanton

Head along the prom and you’ll find a traditional funfair that has stood on the site for years. A good afternoon out for ‘big’ and small kids. A bag of rock for the ride home is a must.

Seal Trip

While you’re here you can’t miss the opportunity to get out and see the seals playing out in the water or just lounging in the sun.

Fish & Chips

Best eaten fresh from the paper and sprinkled with plenty of salt and vinegar. For the full North Norfolk experience, enjoy outside in the sea air while you fight off the seagulls.

Gillying

A great way to entertain the whole family. For a few quid you’ll get yourself a crab lines, a bucket and a handful of whelks or bacon to tempt the swinners. For the best spots head to the quay in Wells or Blakeney.

Carnival

It’s been a tradition for years and is still as popular as ever in North Norfolk. Don’t miss; Wells-next-the-Sea 29th July–7th August 2016, Sheringham 30th–7th August 2016 and Cromer 13th–19th August 2016.
